FR Knitted Mesh Fabric is a lightweight mesh textile with permanent flame retardant properties. It combines the breathability of a mesh structure with the softness and stretch of a knitted fabric. It uses inherently flame-retardant fibers such as mid-arc, FR viscose, and modified acrylic fibers to ensure the fabric retains its excellent flame-reducing properties even after 100 washes, providing long-lasting and stable protection.

High Breathability: The unique mesh pore structure maximizes airflow, allowing heat and moisture to dissipate quickly, making it suitable for wear in hot or high-intensity work environments.

Permanent Flame Retardancy: Made from inherently flame-retardant fibers, this flame retardant property is long-lasting and will not wear off with repeated washings.

Lightweight and Comfortable: It has a soft, stretchy feel for a comfortable fit without restricting movement.
Quick-Drying: It offers excellent quick-drying properties.

Main Applications

Protective Clothing Lining: It provides additional thermal protection and comfort as an inner lining for heavy-duty protective clothing, such as firefighters, welding suits, and arc shields.

Summer Flame-Retardant Workwear: This fabric can be used directly as workwear in hot environments where flame-retardant protection is needed while also maintaining high breathability.

Sports & Outdoor Apparel: This fabric is used for sportswear or outdoor apparel that requires flame-retardant properties, such as racing underwear, ensuring both safety and comfort.

Flame retardant knitted mesh fabric: safe and breathable solution

Product features
Flame retardant knitted mesh fabric is a special protective fabric with excellent flame retardant properties and excellent breathability. It adopts a unique three-dimensional mesh structure design. While ensuring safety protection, it effectively solves the industry pain point of traditional flame retardant fabrics being stuffy and airtight. It is especially suitable for personal protective equipment in high-temperature working environments, providing users with safe and breathable protection.

Core technology principle
Three-dimensional mesh structure design:
Adopting hexagonal honeycomb mesh weaving process, the porosity is as high as 60%-70%
The three-dimensional structure forms an air convection channel to promote the rapid dissipation of heat
Composite flame retardant system:
The base material adopts intrinsic flame retardant fiber (such as modified acrylic fiber/flame retardant polyester)
The surface is coated with nano-scale intumescent flame retardant coating, which expands in the fire to form a dense carbon layer
Intelligent temperature control technology:
Mesh nodes are implanted with phase change microcapsule materials (PCMs)
When the ambient temperature is greater than 35℃, it automatically absorbs heat and releases stored heat when the temperature is less than 25℃
